We are a fast-paced and professional practice. Our doctors are wonderful to their patients and their staff.</p><p>Responsibilities: -Provide patient service and care in a medical setting  </p><p>-Perform medical administrative support tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, accurately maintaining patient records, and medication prior authorizations  </p><p>- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures  </p><p>- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, EKG, spirometry, body composition analysis, and ABI  </p><p>- Perform urine dips and ear lavages  </p><p>- Code medical procedures and diagnoses accurately  </p><p>Experience: - Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required  </p><p>- Previous experience working in a medical office or clinic preferred  </p><p>- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medications  </p><p>- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite  </p><p>Skills: - Excellent patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care  </p><p>- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems, AthenaOne preferred  </p><p>- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail  </p><p>- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally in both written and oral contexts  </p><p>- Proficient in taking vital signs accurately  </p><p>- Familiarity with medical terminology, procedures, medications, and medication prior authorizations  </p><p>- Proven interpersonal skills as a team player demonstrating creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to take initiative  </p><p>- Capability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment  </p><p>Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
